Speck and M-Edge Turn Your iPhone and Nook into Out of Print Books

If you needed anymore proof that you are carrying around a digital book everytime you download one from iTunes or Amazon. Well these new snazzy cases will certainly prove it. Like looking into a window of the past, Speck and M-Edge have teamed up with the Out of Print clothing company to bring the eye-catching and beloved artwork of classic novels to the iPhone 4, iPad, Kindle, and Nook.

Out of Print is a apparel and accessories company dedicated to celebrating the world’s great stories through fashion.  As part of its mission, each Out of Print product sold makes possible the donation of one book to a community in need through its partner Books For Africa.

Speck’s iPhone 4 fitted cases are the lucky ones to be outfitted with these designs, whereas the M-Edge eReader Jackets for the Kindle, Nook, and iPad will be outfitted with them.  There will be a total of seven works available for the Speck cases including Catcher in the Rye, The Great Gatsby, A Clockwork Orange, Moby-Dick, Edgar Allan Poe, Lolita, and To Kill a Mockingbird.

M-Edge will be fashioned with 15 of of these out of print designs that consist of Lord of the Flies, of Mice and Men, Alice and Wonderland, A Streetcar Named Desire, and Moby Dick just to name a few.

The Out of Print Cases for Speck will retail for $35 and the M-Edge ones will retail for $40.
