Italian Made Smart Watch “i’m Watch” is Too Smart For Its Own Good

Buongiorno-DadaEnt looked at their wrist watch and announced at CES 2012 the “i’m Watch.” It is a smart wrist watch that utilizes the Play.me application on i’Music that lets users listen to music wherever they like, navigating through an intuitive interface that has been selected to be part of “CES 2012 Design & Engineering Award Honorees.”

This Italian made smart watch has access to over 1 million radio channels, with many DJ crafted playlists, and vast variety. Streaming is high quality and can even be enjoyed entirely offline after being saved to the watch. The 3.5 mm input/output mini-jack for headphones, make sure you get a great sound while offering you the alternative of integrated speaker microphone connection. There are the standard power, volume controls as well as a stand by. The compact 1.55-inch touchscreen is minimalist but intuitive, and had a resistant glass that protects and covers the gentle curved surface of the high res screen. Think iPod Nano for a close cousin. It also has Bluetooth tethering and a 4GB memory card.

Play.me is also available as a web app based on HTML4 for PCs, tablets, and smartphones, or for a native app on Samsung smartphones and smart TVs. The first collection of smart wristwatches will be available in late February 2012 through i’mwatch.
