iPhone 5 Assembled Like a LEGO From Leaked Parts

Ready for your weekly round of unsubstantiated iPhone 5 rumors? Of course you are, I’m sure you’re not tired of them after over a year’s worth being thrown at you.

The photo above, which was originally posted by iLab Factory, a Chinese blog, shows what is probably a mock-up of what the iPhone 5 could look like. Supposedly, this mock-up was created by looking at actual components leaked from factories in the Apple supply chain. If true, the new iPhone would have a smaller connector dock and would feature the headphone jack on the bottom of the device, both of which have also been heavily rumored.

Otherwise, it’s an iPhone. The dimensions are a little stretched, but it’s more or less the same thing we’ve seen for the past few years. Not much to get excited about until we learn of the actual hardware specs, which I’m sure Apple will be happy to tell us all about soon enough.

As for the mock-up above, take it as fact at your own peril. I don’t know about you, but I’ve lost track of how many iPhone 5s I’ve seen in the past year.
