Polaroid came out with a one of a kind Android powered compact interchangeable-lens smart camera, the iM1836, for easy, near instant, point, shoot, share, capabilities. At 18 megapixels, pictures are high quality. It comes with a 10-10mm optical zoom lens, with option for interchangeables, like those found on D-SLR cameras, while maintaining a light weight. All Micro Four Thirds system lenses work with it with and adapter.
The 3.5″ capacitive touchscreen LCD display exhibits the Android interface of simplicity so one doesn’t not have to push as many buttons as Mission Control just to take a picture, all the while missing the shot. It is even panoramic capable. Other features include, Auto blink detection (I need that bad), auto face exposure, and pop up flash. It is also 1080p HD video enabled. HDMI output lets you watch your adventures on the big screen, or bore people with slide shows. Built in peer to peer WiFi and Polaroids photo sharing apps make sharing a breeze.
