Beats Solo HD Gets a Splash of Color

Someone has gotten a facelift. The Beats Solo HD headphones have been refreshed with a new paint job. Over the summer, the Beats Mixr headphones went through a similar facelift – but those colors were influenced by a neon palette. Now it’s time for the Solo HD’s closeup.

There are 9 colors in total that will bring the Solo HD to life again, and each with a matte finish. Every inch of the Solo HD is painted – the headband, ear cups, and even the cables are perfectly color coordinated. And not only has the Solo HD gotten a color upgrade, but so has the Beats logo. Perfect for those nighttime listening sessions, the Beats logo is now sporting a reflective logo. So if you were afraid no one would notice you rocking a pair of Beats – the logo will certainly catch someone’s eye. Everything else has pretty much stayed the same, so only time will tell when they completely overhaul the Solo HD headphones like they recently did with the new Beats Studio.

All in all, the Beats Solo HD are still the most budget friendly pair of  headphones out of the entire Beats by Dre headphone line-up. In fact, it is also the 2nd oldest member of the Beats family, but with this new splash of color – they look as fresh as ever.
