MacBook Air Retro Sports the Apple Logo of Yesteryear

After years of letting you paint your gadgets any way you choose, ColorWare is getting a little more creative, with new limited edition custom offerings. We first heard about this with their leopard-print Beats Pill Safari and, for some reason, a KitchenAid stand mixer. Next up is one that is sure to pull at the heartstrings of Apple fans everywhere—a 13″ MacBook Air done up in the style of an Apple IIe from the ’80s.

The MacBook Air Retro features that same off-white you saw on early Apple computers, along with the rainbow Apple logo that Apple has since ditched because it’s just not minimalistic enough. But, if you feel nostalgia kicking in, you’d better be prepared to make a snap decision. ColorWare is only producing 10 of these. They’re going for $3,500, and will ship in two to three weeks.
