Speck Celebrates the iPhone 6s Release With New Cases from Jonathan Adler

Speck’s CandyShell Inked line has given us a lot of good looks, including a beautiful luxury line just a month before the iPhone 6s announcement. Now that Apple’s latest is on the market, Speck is back at it with a new Inked line of cases featuring Jonathan Adler designs.

The Jonathan Adler x Speck line is made up of seven designs, taking inspiration from antiquity and, as Jonathan Adler does, wood. The honeyed burl wood finish is an especially nice look, but there’s a lot to love throughout, and there are some great color contrast choices made with the secondary colors.

Besides the designs, the cases are standard Speck quality. You get dual-layer protection, with a hard glossy outer shell and a soft silicone shock-absorbent layer to make sure drops don’t damage the internals of your phone. As always, there are also raised bezels to protect the screen and camera lens, so these will be some of the all-too-rare cases that will look terrific and actually protect your phone in case of an accident.

The Jonathan Adler x Speck cases cost $50 (6/6s) and $55 (6 Plus/6s Plus) — it’s worth pointing out that, as usual with s releases, the body of the iPhone 6s hasn’t changed, so cases can be used interchangeably on the iPhone 6 and 6s. Right now, only the Doramaar, Aqua Greek Key, and Bluegio cases are available on Speck, but you can sign up to be notified when the other four are ready to go.
