We’ve been all over the intersection of fashion and technology in recent years, with the birth of wearables that, slowly but surely, are starting to gain respectability on the runway. But, that’s not the only way tech is making us look good in 2016. JeNu is working on beauty gadgets to help your face look its best, and Dan Obegi sat down with Andrea Smith of MommyTech TV to talk about what the company has in store for 2016.
As it turns out, JeNu just released their latest gadget shortly before CES 2016. The JeNu Plus Ultrasonic Infuser will not only keep your skin looking great, it can help your wallet stay nice and fat, too. The Ultrasonic Infuser can be rubbed across the face after applying any product like moisturizers, serums, and creams — “anything that works by being absorbed,” as Obegi puts it. The device will help your skin absorb more of the product, faster. That’s huge, because skincare products like this don’t work unless they are absorbed into the skin, and they tend to be absorbed at a very low rate naturally. With JeNu’s infuser, you can either get more product into your skin or use less of it at one time, making your skincare purchases last longer.
Obegi also talked about the exciting new direction that beauty tech is going — specifically, toward a future that eliminates wrinkles without invasive surgery. The use of lights, lasers, and ultrasound are slowly but surely eliminating blemishes and wrinkles by increasing collagen production in the face. In other words, tech is giving the body a boost so it can naturally fight aging on its own — the future can’t come soon enough!
