Couple’s Harry Potter Themed Wedding Was More Beautiful Than It Was Cheesy

You know you’ve found the one when you can plan a wedding like this with your fiancé. Cassie and Lewis Byrom pulled off the themed wedding to end all themed weddings with a Harry Potter bash that took a full year’s worth of planning to pull off. No detail was overlooked.

The reception was held at the Midland Hotel in Manchester, England, so we’re already off to a pretty good start. Tables for the guests were separated into houses, which I feel like was probably the hardest part of the whole thing. Like, they literally had to sort all of their friends and family, then hope that no one got salty about not getting put into Gryffindor. It probably helped a lot that everyone got their own wands when they arrived.

The little details were magical, too. The little Ferrero Rocher chocolate balls were turned into golden snitches, and yes, that does mean they glued wings onto the golden wrappers individually. They also made the bridal bouquet out of actual pages of Harry Potter books, which means that the sacred texts actually were harmed during the making of this wedding. We’re not sure how we feel about that.

Just about everything was handmade by the bride and groom, so they must have some serious charm spells cast on each other.
