Fairgodboss recently did a study that outlines the top tech companies for women to work at, according to women that actually work there. Each company scores between 0 to 100, with 100 being THE best score you can possibly receive. 0 is the worst.
They get their rankings from anonymous surveys and reviews that ask their female members to weigh in on job satisfaction, if they feel they are treated as equally as their male coworkers, and if they would recommend other women work there too.
Women that work here report that these companies do not micromanage, promote and pay women fairly, advance women into management roles, and value a balance between work and life.
Here are the top tech companies for women to work at, below! It’s a wonderful resource to have and take a look at, especially if you’re looking to change careers within the tech industry.
We think this is a pretty trustworthy source, because Fairygodboss says on their website, “We never pay for reviews or try to influence them because our community is trying to help each other by providing honest opinions.”
“If you read the job reviews women have left of these employers, you’ll see that nobody necessarily does a perfect job. However, these companies uniformly have a lot of female employees who give their companies credit for trying,” Georgene Huang, their CEO, says.
“Almost all of these employers have made significant and real investments in hiring, retaining and promoting women. They have done so through improving their benefits, programs, and culture.”
On where Fairygodboss gets their data from:
“We rely 100% on our members to submit tips about their companies policies. If you see something that needs updating, please submit a tip!” they say on their website.
