If you’re hoping to tone up but you’re too afraid to venture into the weight room, then Jefit is for you. You can look up any weight machine that exists and it explains to you how to use it.

It also can help you figure out ways to use free weights too! Perhaps, the most helpful part though is the preset workouts that it has for each muscle group. Also, it’s free so you have no excuse not to download it get in your best shape.


Sworkit was born on Shark Tank when Mark Cuban decided to invest $1.5 million into the company. In the beginning, the app was free. Now they charge $79.99 a year. I know it seems unfair to pay, but it’s less than belonging to a gym and SO much less than a personal trainer.

With Sworkit, you get access to a trainer who can answer all your fitness questions. The best part is, it allows you to use your bodyweight for workouts so you don’t even need equipment!


This app is basically like having your own personal fitness class right on your phone! Trainers from the best boutique studios in the country are coaches on the app. The workouts range from HIIT to yoga and everything in between.

You can pick the body parts you want to focus on, and how much time you have to work out. Depending on what workout you choose, you may need to buy some gym equipment. The app costs $95.99 per year.


DailyBurn is great for those who want to workout but can’t really seem to commit to it. So, instead of starting a regular daily workout, the app makes you start programs that last for eight weeks.

The programs also set you up with nutrition guidelines and meal plans to help. This app will only cost you $19.95 a month.
