Fun fact: Amico means “friend” or “little buddy” in Italian. The Como Audio Amico Speaker really lives up to the name the company bestowed upon it, because it’s bound to be your new best friend.
This stylish and wireless speaker really is going to be one of your new favorite pieces of tech, and it’s surely one of mine as I sit here writing this article and listening to it play “Over My Dead Body” by Drake.
It’s no surprise that the Amico is one of Como Audio’s best selling speakers. It’s portable and weather resistant, which are my two favorite features aside from the design itself. Featuring a real teak wood veneer that is sleek and modern and also weather resistant, the Amico also comes complete with ½” marine-grade plywood substrate to add another layer of protection from moisture, and a bottom pad made of slip-resistant silicone.
A rechargeable LI-ion battery gives this powerful speaker 8 whole hours of time to play your favorite tunes, and a full-color LCD display attractively displays your favorite album covers. There are also three super sleek control knobs made of aluminum and six channel buttons you can program to your favorite channels.
Although the Amico clearly fits seamlessly into a beautifully designed home, like an object you intentionally styled along with the rest of your room, you can actually take this with you on the go.
I took this easily with me to the barn and played some of my favorite songs while I road my horses. The WiFi in my barn is not nearly as good as it is in my house, but I had no problem streaming Spotify to the Amico despite that detail.
I did mention that the battery life on the Amico is 8 hours, but I found that the speaker they sent me to review played for a bit longer than that, which is nice!
I really, really love that you caComo Audio Amico Speaker Reviewn take your Amico with you on the go. It’s been quite a struggle for me to find a portable speaker that sounds just as amazing as the sound systems I have set up in my home.
With the Amico, you don’t have to sacrifice on style, and you don’t have to sacrifice on audio quality either. This truly is worth every penny, and you can get one for yourself here (you won’t be disappointed).
