It’s Ok To Take A Break
This one was definitely the hardest thing for me to learn along the way, so let me be the first one to tell you how important it is. It’s ok to take a break.
I mean, you should schedule them in! If you’re anything like me, you feel guilty about not working 24/7, but the truth is that’s exactly how you set yourself up for burnout.
You can’t work 7 days a week, sleep for 3 hours every night, and think that you don’t need to sit down to properly feed yourself because it will get in the way of building a successful company.
It will backfire. It’s not healthy. It’s not sustainable.
It’s counterproductive to your happiness as well, because you set yourself up to fail by pushing yourself to all your limits all the time and not taking a little time out.
