Kim Kardashian actually first hit your TV screen back in the early 2000s, believe it or not!
She made an appearance on The Simple Life when she assisted socialite and heiress Paris Hilton with organizing her crazy closet.
Interestingly enough, when The Simple Life ended in 2007 after five seasons on the air, that was when the first season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians came out.
Now, Kim K is crediting this celeb with blowing up her career.
Can you guess who it is?

In a new interview that Kim did with the Los Angeles Times, she opened up about how much credit she truly gives her.
“Paris, in my eyes, has done a lot for me in my career,” Kim said.
“A lot of people became aware of who I was through my friendship with her.”
So, Kim and Paris actually kind of feuded after the debut of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
After that, the two simply lost touch over the years, and Kim says they then reconnected as friends and that Paris from there was nothing but supportive and sweet.
This is hardly the first time Kim has given Paris full credit for her stardom.

“I really would want to do anything for her,” Kim said to Khloe about Paris this year in an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
“She literally gave me a career and I totally acknowledge that.”
