Nail polish is just one of my favorite beauty buys.
It’s fun, colorful, and you can easily change it as frequently as you do your underwear if you so choose.
Well…that gets expensive if you head on over to get a professional manicure, so I frequently turn to some of my tried and true favorite drugstore picks.
Here are my favorite ones under $5 on Amazon!
If Your Nails Aren’t In Great Shape – Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear is the best pick if your nails just aren’t in great shape. I do really think this one works the best if you have brittle or bad nails.
I used this one pretty religiously after I wrecked my nails getting too many pro gel manicures, and I find that adding 2 to 3 coats of it gets you the best results.
The color pictured above is Iris Illusion, but it comes in a bunch of exciting and eye-catching colors.
If You’re Looking For Gel – Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish is the perfect pick if you want a gel manicure for way less than what you pay from a pro.
A little goes a long way on this one, so make sure you apply it very liberally.
It’s also on sale right now for an insanely low price in this cool color!
If You’re Looking To Be Chip-Free – Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat is your best bet if you’re looking to be chip-free with your at-home mani.
It does dry quite quickly too, just like the name implies!
I find this works the best if you put on at least 2 coats of your nail color, wait for it to dry completely, and then add this topcoat.
If You’re Looking To Add Sparkle – Wet n Wild Shine
If you’re looking to add some sparkle, check out this one from Wet n Wild!
This color is called Sparked, and it boasts a high-shine finish.
