Christian Paz was just 3-years-old when he died in the arms of his mom on January 28th, 2020.
This toddler lived in Texas with his mom, Sareh Lang.
Two days before Christian sadly passed away, Sareh had to go to work, so she left him in the care of her ex-boyfriend.
When Christian’s mom left him home with her ex, 29-year-old Logan Harvill, she never imagined that would be the last time she would ever see her son.
While Sareh was at work, Logan called her saying that he could not wake Christian up, but it’s not clear if he was sleeping when she left home.
After Logan called Sareh, he then called 911.
When paramedics arrived at the family’s home, they quickly got Christian to a local hospital.
Once there, Christian was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.
The day after Christian arrived at the hospital, doctors said he was braindead.
It was on January 28th that Christian passed away while Sareh held him, as he was taken off life support.
The medical examiner has ruled Christian’s mysterious death a homicide due to blunt force trauma to his head.
Police are now saying that Logan is responsible for Christian’s death since he was the only one at home with him.
Christian’s family had this to say in a statement to KBTX about Christian:
“He was a sweet, loving, brilliant, funny baby with big brown eyes and anime hair.”
“Our hearts are shattered. He is so very loved and missed.”

As of right now, the police cannot provide further details on what exactly happened to Christian considering the investigation into his death is still ongoing.
Christian’s body has not been returned to his mom since it is considered evidence in the case.
Logan has been arrested and charged for injuring a child.
He is currently behind bars and his bail has been set at $1 million dollars.
A GoFundMe has been started by Christian’s aunt to help his mom and has raised $5,415 so far.
“My nephew, Christian Alexander, was seriously injured while under the care of my sister’s ex-boyfriend while my sister worked the night of 01/26/2020,” Christian’s aunt posted on the GoFundMe page.
“He was eventually declared brain dead on 01/27/2020. Today, 01/28/2020, the Medical Examiner has said his entire body is evidence and his life support was disconnected.”
“My sister, and my entire family, is so very low. I founded this GoFundMe to help with funeral and memorial costs.”
“Update: Christian’s cause of death has been declared blunt force trauma and is officially a homicide.”
“No update on when Christian’s body will be released to his mother.”
