Designer Comes Under Fire For Selling A Line Made With ‘Ethically Sourced’ Human Remains Including A Child’s Spine

I couldn’t make this one up if I tried. Arnold Putra is an Indonesian designer who is already known for having quite an avant-garde style, and now it’s looking like he took it too far.

…But there is such a thing as taking things too far.

In a recent collection, Arnold used “ethically sourced” human remains to make some of the pieces in his line…including a child’s spine.

He’s coming under fire for using genuine human remains, and here’s how he most likely got them.
