Lindsay Lohan’s New Song Addresses Her Tough Past And The Internet Is Divided Over Whether It’s Selfish Of Her To Be Releasing A New Hit Right Now

33-year-old Lindsay Lohan last released an album back in 2008. It didn’t really do that well back then, but now she’s back with a new song that addresses her tough past.

It did seem to come out of nowhere, but she hinted on New Year’s Eve that she was taking her life and career in a new direction.

Lindsay went on CNN’s “New Year’s Eve Live With Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen,” where she revealed that she was “taking back the life that I worked so hard for and sharing it with my family and you guys.”

Last Tuesday, Lindsay took to Instagram and Twitter to post a 30-second long video clip with the caption, “I’m back!”

Then on Wednesday, she followed up her mysterious message with a snip of her new song, explaining in the caption, “The song is about rediscovering and accepting oneself, shutting out the noise and moving forward and letting the past go. Living in the now.”

The internet is divided over whether it’s selfish of her to be releasing a new hit right now, given the state the world is in.

Here’s what the internet had to say on the next page, along with how Lindsay’s lyrics discuss her less than stellar past.
