One of the reasons I really love Reese Witherspoon is for how open and honest she has been about a lot of things in her life.
Now, she’s getting real about postpartum depression and how much she struggled with it.
Reese recently appeared on an episode of the I Weigh podcast by Jameela Jamil, and the first thing she opened up about was how she got into therapy at 16-years-old.
“I definitely had anxiety, my anxiety manifests as depression so I would get really depressed,” she shared.
“My brain is like a hamster on a wheel and it won’t come off. I’ve been managing it my entire life.”
Reese then went on to say that after she gave birth to her children, she started to have the hardest time with her mental health.
