Just yesterday, Brian took to his new podcast to share that he has been separated from Megan for months now.
“I wanted everyone to hear everything from me, and this is it,” Brian started out by explaining on his podcast.
“Neither one of us did anything to each other. She’s always been honest with me. I’ve always been honest with her. We’ve had an amazing relationship.”

Last year, after Megan spent a few weeks away from home filming something, she said to Brian that she wanted some time apart, to herself.
Brian said that Megan told him, “She said, ‘You know what, I realized while I was out of the country working that I feel more like myself and I liked myself better during that experience. And I think that’s something that might be worth trying for me.'”
He goes on to say he couldn’t help but be upset about her choice, “I was upset about it, but I can’t be upset at her…and I wasn’t upset at her because she didn’t ask to feel that way.”
Brian did also point out the photos of Megan with Machine Gun Kelly, which was the whole reason people started thinking they divorced.

As for how Megan and Machine Gun Kelly Met? Brian said, “She met this guy on set.”
“I’ve never met him. Megan and I have talked about him. I trust her judgment, she’s always had really good judgment.”
“It’s really important to me that people don’t treat anyone like a villain or a victim in this situation.”
“She’s been my best friend for 15 years and I don’t want to lose that.”
“There’s this sense of loss of, ‘How do I go on with this big part of my life that I’ve always known and loved and shared changing?’ What does that landscape look like? What does that life look like?”
Brian isn’t sure if this split means the end for him and Megan though.
“Who knows if this is the end of the journey. We have a lot of life left. So the paths have sort of gone in separate ways for now.”
“They could come back together. They may not. We don’t know.”
Megan did file for divorce from Brian in 2015, but after she got pregnant with Journey she decided to not follow through. She ended up moving to dismiss it just last year.
“I will always love her,” Brian went on to say.
“And I know she will always love me, and I know as far as a family what we have built is really cool and really special.”
