Shou Sugi Ban House is kind of the perfect getaway tucked in the Hamptons, and it’s the very first boutique wellness destination to hit the area.
This resort just opened right before Memorial Day, and it comes with 13 different rooms, 14 fireplaces, and an entire spa.
Amy Cherry-Abitbol, the co-owner and CEO of Shou Sugi Ban House, explains on their website that she lived in Japan for several years and was inspired by their culture to create this destination.
“Guided by a belief that each person walks a unique path to wholeness, she and her business partner purchased the property in 2015 to create a sanctuary outside of the every day and establish an innovative experience that blends global wellness philosophies with state-of-the-art practices,” the website says.
Shou Sugi Ban House sits on 3.1 acres next to the Parrish Art Museum, and here’s what your $450,000 per month stay will get you.
