Luckily, Marshal was a few hours later, and he had managed to walk a mile away from his home. He was completely unharmed, and he just had a lot of mud and dirt on him.
Buckwheat and Nala were found along with him, and both of the dogs had not left his side at all that day.
The Walton County Sheriff took to Facebook to share the update that Marshal and his companions were safe, sound, and reunited with the rest of their family, before commenting, “We don’t deserve dogs.”
Just when you think dogs can’t get any better than they already are, they do something astounding, like what Buckwheat and Nala did for their tiny human.
