Viktoria Averina was a 17-year-old girl living in Russia who everyone called Vika for short. She came from a good family and was attending college to fulfill her dream of becoming a chef.

Vika was very close to two younger girls; a pair of 16-year-olds named Irina and Lina.

Vika, Irina, and Lina were best friends for quite some time and even went to high school together prior to Vika graduating and moving on.

Irina and Lina felt that Vika was full of herself because she was so good looking, and they allegedly said she boasted about being more beautiful than they were.
