So Fowl: A Rose Garden Had To Close Down To The Public Because Of Gerald The Turkey, Who Residents Say Is Pretty Much A Velociraptor

Morcom Rose Garden is a beautiful public garden nestled in a residential neighborhood in Oakland, California.

It’s home to thousands of incredible different roses that bloom from early May through late October, and it even has a fountain and reflecting pool.

Volunteers from the community that have completed a certificate program are in charge of caring for all the roses in the garden.

Morcom Rose Garden is a popular destination for residents and tourists alike, but unfortunately, it just got shut down because of a turkey named Gerald.
