Toddler Kidnapped While His Mom Was Pushing Him In A Stroller And Now They’ve Been Miraculously Reunited

A current crime with a happy ending: that’s just not something that’s altogether common.

When crimes involve children being taken from their parents, I’m sure you know those sadly end well only on a rare occasion.

However, the story of this toddler’s kidnapping that happened this past Saturday has a remarkable and miraculous ending.

At around 12:30 in the afternoon, Leslie Bamaca was outside of her apartment building in Chamblee, Georgia, along with her 1-year-old son Mateo Mantufar-Barrera.

She was pushing her son in a stroller right outside of the Balfour Chamblee Apartments when all of a sudden a man and a woman pulled up next to her in an Acura SUV.

The man got out of the car and raised a gun up to Leslie’s hip while peering into the stroller at her son. This brave mom held onto the gun and was able to wrestle it out of his hands.

She then turned the weapon on the man and tried to pull the trigger, but the gun jammed.
