Husky Still In Need Of His Perfect Family After Being Adopted And Returned To The Shelter 7 Times

He does know some commands, and one of the trainers at the DAS has kindly offered to help the person or family that adopts him for free so that Houdini can really grow into his best self in his new home.

The Director of the San Diego County Department of Animal Services, Kelly Campbell, said, “He just needs a patient, compassionate new owner that is willing to commit to addressing his special needs.”

Kelly continued to say that everyone is really committed to finding his special home. “It would have to be a person or persons who are active, experienced with the breed, experienced with dog training and willing to be dedicated to helping Houdini become the best dog that he can be.”

“We truly believe he has the potential to be an amazing addition to the family, if he could only find his perfect, devoted companion.”

If you think Houdini sounds like the perfect dog for you, you can watch a YouTube video on him here, then head on over to the DAS website here to fill out an adoption application!
