Due to this birth defect, Jack is incontinent and he wears diapers 24/7. The vet that currently sees him believes this will be something Jack will go through for the rest of his life.
Jack can stand up a bit and walk around, but he can’t do it for very long and isn’t up to going out for walks. He does love cuddling up on the couch and playing with toys though, and that’s something he is always up for!
On January 22nd, Jack got all ready to meet a family that was interested in adopting him. Unfortunately, they never even showed up to see him.
“Jack was very sad when his meet and greet person was a no show, no call,” Peaches Bully Rescue shared in a Facebook post.
“He had a bath, got his fancy harness on, had a fresh diaper, and a dedicated foster team that drove 40 mins each way just to end in huge disappointment.”
“Obviously, that wasn’t his family. Morgan, the nice lady from Cabela’s, bought him a new toy to help him forget this experience. Thank you!! Your family will come sweet boy and when they do, they will be perfect.”
“Respect that we are all volunteers and just trying to give this guy his best chance. Not showing up or calling is bad form.”
Jack is still looking for a loving home and his perfect person, or people. If you are interested in adopting Jack, you can apply on Peaches Bully Rescue’s website.
They do think he will do the best with a family that doesn’t currently have a dog since he gets a bit overwhelmed with friends.
