A 17-year-old boy driving a Jaguar hit the car that Jacqueline and her friends were in, causing their car to hit a telephone pole before flipping over sideways at around 2 a.m.
Jacqueline’s 4 friends were rushed to Westchester Medical Center and Nyack Hospital to be treated for their injuries, but sadly Jacqueline died at the scene.
“The preliminary investigation revealed that the 17-year-old male driver from Suffern, NY was intoxicated,” the Town of Ramapo Police Department said in a statement.

“He was transported from Nyack Hospital to the Ramapo Police Department for arrest processing.”
“The driver, whose identity will be withheld due to his juvenile status, was charged with Manslaughter 2nd, Assault 2nd, Vehicular Assault 1st, Vehicular Manslaughter 2nd and DWI.”
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing and is expected to take some time to complete.”
“The male driver was arraigned virtually this afternoon in Rockland County Youth Superior Court. He was released on his own recognizance and will return to court on Monday April 26, 2021.”
“Jacqueline was special in so many ways,” Patrice McDonald-Brophy wrote on a GoFundMe page created to help cover Jacqueline’s funeral expenses for her family.
“She was an incredible daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend. Jacqueline was full of life. Anyone that met Jacqueline, loved her.”
