“The school also tried to say that a printer was broken during this, when my brother said the students and teachers haven’t been able to use the printer for months now,” Steely continued.
The following day was Senior Skip Day, and Steely noted that nothing really happened to the students that day.
When the kids returned to school on Monday after the weekend though, the principal and vice-principal of the school called a meeting with the pranksters.
“During this meeting, ALL students got suspended (no matter how they were involved,” Steely explained.
“So the kids who only forked the field received the same punishment as the kids who broke into the school that night), they all got ISS for two weeks, they have to take all their finals, they aren’t allowed to participate in any senior activities next week, and (most recently) they’re out of NHS until the advisory board decides otherwise.”
Many parents were outraged that the kids received harsh punishments for things that weren’t malicious or damaging to the school’s property. “Harmless” was how Steely described what the kids did.
