A deputy with the Carter County Tennessee Sherriff’s Office ultimately saw Michael driving around Fish Springs, and was able to pull him over and arrest him.

“Working in conjunction with High Point PD, Carter County (TN) Sheriff’s Department located Delgado’s vehicle operated by Cadogan,” the High Point Police Department said in a statement.
“Carter County Sheriff’s Department prepared and executed a Search Warrant on the vehicle and located the body of a deceased female.”
Initially, Michael was charged with abuse of a corpse and he was also held without bond after his arrest in Tennessee.
Authorities sadly confirmed that it was Gianna in the trunk of her own car that Michael was driving.

“Michael Cadogan, who was caught last week with a body in his car, will be extradited to North Carolina to stand trial for the murder of Gianna Delgado,” the Carter County Tennessee Sherriff’s Office said in an update posted to social media 22 hours ago.
