She Got In Her Car And Drove Away After It Turned Out She Was Alone On A Hiking Trip With Her Boss’s Husband But Now She’s Telling The Internet She Messed Up

“I asked him where everyone was,” she explained. “He said no one else could make it and it would just be us on the hike.”

“It was early morning and still dark and I didn’t know Greg other than seeing him in passing at Sue’s house. I knew he was probably a nice guy but I felt nervous going hiking in a dark, remote area with a man who was practically a stranger.”

She then called Sue, who said she would not be going on the hiking trip because “something came up with her kid.” Sue insisted she should go on the hike anyway, especially since the views were gorgeous.

She really did not feel comfortable going on the hike alone with Greg, and she asked him if it would be ok to go on a day when the other people could make it.

“He got frustrated, saying it’s no big deal and we should hurry up and start,” she said. “I was more nervous at that point and thanked him before saying I was going to head home.”

“That upset him even more and he came toward me and asked me if I thought he was a serial killer.”

“He seemed angry so I panicked and jumped in the car saying I had to go. He kept yelling at me to stop as I drove away.”

She got back into her car completely terrified, and then she noticed Sue was calling her phone. She picked up Sue’s call, and Sue told her the whole entire hiking trip was organized just to get her to come out there for a surprise.

Sue and her coworkers had planned a surprise birthday party for her up at a certain point on the hike.

Sue saw on Facebook that it was going to be her birthday, so she had organized everything and Greg was going to lead her up to the spot where the party was.

“I felt terrible and offered to drive back but Sue was pissed and said I ruined it for everyone and made Greg feel like a creeper,” she continued.
