“I punched him in the face in response. I raked my nails down his arms and drew some blood which made him furious.”

He came back after 2 hours and let her out.
When he did release her, she didn’t utter a word to him. He tried to apologize, and she went straight to her room and sat down on her bed. She sat there for hours, doing nothing at all.
“I don’t know how to describe the way I felt then. Sort of cold and empty. I went to sleep, woke up to eat dinner then went back to sleep,” she said.
“We didn’t talk to each other this morning and I’ve just been eating and walking around the house for the whole day.”
She ended up calling her mom and asking her if she could stay with her. Her mom agreed to that, so she does have somewhere to go. She isn’t sure what to say to her boyfriend and how to end it, but she’s decided it’s best for her to do so.
“Is there anything important that I should do or keep in mind? I’ve never ended a long-term relationship before so I want to make sure that I approach this the best way I can,” she wrote.
