Her father-in-law then called her up and left a nasty voicemail accusing her of trying to destroy her mother-in-law’s self-esteem.
“He called me a fake person who doesn’t know what love is, a controlling psycho, and then he began swearing at me and saying I made his wife cry,” she continued.
Her fiancé then got involved and stuck up for her.
The day after this all went down, her father-in-law’s daughter sent her a text saying she believes she’s being awful because the colors she picked don’t compliment her mother-in-law’s skin tone.
She then attempted to call her mother-in-law and ask if that was the problem, but she wouldn’t pick up her call.
Her fiancé is backing her up and thinks his mother should suck it up and wear the dress, but it looks like his parents won’t even be at the wedding anymore over all this dress drama.
Her mother-in-law has not even RSVP’d to the wedding, and she’s wondering if she might need to give in a little on this whole situation.
“This is important to me and I’m sick of her always being a spoiled brat and getting her way, but at the same time the colors are making her really insecure and she is super vain,” she explained.
How would you handle this?
