She pointed out to Ella that they had agreed upon ensuring their children would be comfortable in a financial sense because they both did not have that when they were kids.
Since college is outrageously expensive where she lives, she and her husband figured the best use of her inheritance would be setting it aside for their daughter to eventually go to college.
Anyway, Ella was not happy about the fact that she was not willing to fork over the entire inheritance.
“Ella said I was sabotaging her and that I owed her for looking after me when we were kids,” she continued.
“John said since Ella “faced more struggles” she deserved it all despite knowing full well our parents hurt me regularly as well.”
She then told Ella and John that they needed to leave her house, and after they did, she called her husband to talk about what had just happened.
Her husband thought that she was right in not giving Ella and John all of the money.
Afterward, she was left feeling guilty, and she was conflicted about giving Ella everything since she didn’t plan on using her share of the money quickly.
