They are also hoping that witnesses or anyone who might have video surveillance footage of the area will come forward.
“The Clarkstown Police Department is asking for anyone who may have been in the area and has additional information or possibly video of any passing vehicles from 3:30 – 4:00 AM, to contact the department at (845)639-5800,” the Clarkstown Police Department continued in their statement.
Brook Valley Podiatry, where Katrina worked, shared a tribute to her on Facebook following the news of her passing.
“Katrina was someone who could light up a room with her friendliness and compassion,” Brook Valley Podiatry wrote.
“She made the lives of all she came into contact with better. The world is a better place because of her.”

There is currently a GoFundMe page that has been created to help raise money for Katrina’s son Khasyi to attend college, which was Katrina’s biggest dream in life.
