Well, she told her sister-in-law that she could not make it to the wedding if her wife was not invited as well.
This caused a huge problem with her sister-in-law, and her sister-in-law actually took back the invitation to the wedding.
She was no longer invited, and her sister-in-law mentioned she didn’t want any issues on the day of her wedding.
“I said fine no hard feelings and asked my brother to send my dress back to my place,” she continued.
Her brother completely understood where she was coming from, and he felt she was justified in getting her wedding dress back after being uninvited.
Her sister-in-law couldn’t believe that she took back her wedding dress, and sobbed to her that she wanted to wear it.
Her sister-in-law tried to lay out the fact that she had no money and her parents refused to pay for a wedding dress, so that dress was her only option.
She wouldn’t agree to giving her wedding dress to her sister-in-law to wear again, even after her parents asked her to.
“My parents got involved telling me to let her have it and reminded me of how strong our bond is but I said it clearly wasn’t as strong as I thought it was because she let her parents exclude me and my wife from the wedding,” she explained.
She is not angry with her sister-in-law over all this drama, but she simply doesn’t want her to wear her wedding dress now, for good reason.
How would you deal with this?
