18-Year-Old Stabbed To Death Over 30 Times After Going To Meet Her Ex To Discuss Their Relationship

Gilbert had been trying to get Morgan back together with him, promising her he would make changes in his behavior.

So, Morgan headed to the parking lot of the Meadowbrook Train Station, in Abington, Pennsylvania, interested to hear what Gilbert had to say.

By 8:15 that morning, someone saw Morgan lying across the pavement, right next to her car that was still running.

She had more than 30 different stab wounds and slash marks across her stomach and neck and she was bleeding everywhere.

Sadly, by the time paramedics arrived on the scene, Morgan had already passed away. As police started to look into what had happened to her, a witness told them they saw somebody driving out of the parking lot in a white-colored Jeep.

Authorities quickly arrested Gilbert for murdering Morgan, and in his arrest affidavit it states his own mom called 911 after he came home a short time later with cut marks on his hands and blood covering his clothes.

Officers arrived at Gilbert’s house around 10 a.m., where he sat on his couch still covered in blood and allegedly confessed everything he did to Morgan.

“A young woman with her whole life ahead of her, just graduated from high school, was brutally stabbed to death,” Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele said in a statement.

“This murder is a tragedy for her family, her friends, and everyone who loved her. Sadly, we are seeing relationship violence and domestic violence far too often during this pandemic.”
