Dominic is lucky to be alive, and he has had to undergo multiple painful surgeries, in addition to a bone transport, on his leg that was injured badly.
He is still on the long and slow road to recovery, and he is also still looking for the good samaritan who stepped in on the day of the hit-and-run.
In a post from yesterday, Dominic’s mom Elizabeth said on Facebook, “We’re so proud of our son for his grateful and courageous heart. He seems to always find the good in tough situations.”
“May he find his “Good Samaritan” who saved his life. We have little to offer you but our deepest gratitude and sincerest appreciation.”
Lynette Perez, a friend of Dominic’s mom, has created a GoFundMe to help Dominic out as he recovers.
