Her Killer Removed Her Clothes And Washed Her Body Before Dumping Her But 41 Years Later, Nobody Knows Who She Was

Another identifying feature on her body was a tiny blue tattoo on her right arm, shaped into an S, which most likely was made at home.

Authorities also suspected she had gotten her tattoo shortly before she was murdered, and it wasn’t very big; just half an inch by a quarter inch.

A homicide investigator named Joe Ebert told the American Dental Association that he thought this young woman had lived in the Las Vegas Valley.

He also said that radiographs of her teeth revealed a ligature wire that he thought had been placed in her mouth due to a fracture in her jaw.

“Because of her X-rays and the condition of her teeth, Mr. Ebert believes the victim visited the dentist on a regular basis,” the American Dental Association wrote.

“He encourages dentists to look at the radiographs in case they may have treated her in the past.”

In the absence of her name, she has become known as the Arroyo Grande Jane Doe, since Arroyo Grande was close to where she was found.
