“They both came at me screaming and yelling about SIL’s feelings and she could miscarry from the stress I caused her again I told them a funeral, especially one for two children, isn’t the time to announce a pregnancy,” she wrote.
Her sister-in-law said their child would never be part of her life if she didn’t drop her “attitude.”
Things escalated from there and her dad kicked out her sister-in-law and brother. “So yeah all this drama at a time we should be there for one another,” she concluded.
Here’s what the internet had to say.
“What a horrible human being to take someone’s grief of not just one person, but 3 of the closest people in their lives, and make it about her?”
“There’s not one reason why SIL needed to announce anything that day, much less spend the whole day making it about herself.”
“I hope someone keeps her well away from the rest of the family for a good while, and I sincerely hope your cousin gets the time and support she needs to heal.”
“The whole thing is almost inconceivable to me. I’ve sat on pregnancy news for smaller reasons before because sometimes things are about other people.”
“I can’t imagine making up symptoms at two seconds pregnant so that I could upstage a children’s funeral. There’s something wrong with SIL.”
