Her Sister-In-Law Is Threatening To Not Come To Her Wedding After She Was Told Her Emotional Support Dog Isn’t Invited

To complicate things further, her fiancé, her fiancé’s father (who is officiating their wedding), and her fiancé’s little sister are all highly allergic to dogs.

When her sister-in-law was informed that her dog couldn’t come to the wedding with her, she absolutely lost it.

She insisted that she could not be in any kind of social environment alone, and she threatened to not come to the wedding if her dog had to stay home.

This poor woman is left wanting to understand where her sister-in-law is coming from, and she understands anxiety since she has dealt with it, but realistically, her fiancé and his family members shouldn’t have to be plagued with allergies for the wedding.

Now, her family and also her fiancé’s family are all in agreement that her sister-in-law needs to come to the wedding alone, though there’s just no convincing her.

One of her friends has pointed out to her it will be easier to let her sister-in-law come with her dog since she clearly will be complaining about it for the remainder of her life.

She then mentioned that her sister-in-law’s dog is not a certified emotional support dog, but apparently, her sister-in-law is trying to get him to be official.

Her own brother has an emotional support dog since he has PTSD, and when she told him he couldn’t bring his dog to the wedding he was completely ok with it.

She usually goes to great lengths to be accommodating of her sister-in-law, but she’s pretty sure she’s putting her foot down on this one.

How would you deal with this?
