K’s husband had his brother as his groomsmen, and this couple was happy to just have their siblings be part of their big day like that.
“L threw a bit of a crying fit, wore white to the wedding, and basically sulked until her eye caught one of the groom’s cousins,” she explained.
L spent the remainder of the evening with her tongue down this guy’s throat while also crying.
Then it came time for K to toss the bouquet, and she someone was the one who caught the bouquet.
“L cornered me during the reception and got upset-er (if it’s possible to get more upset and angry than she was during the wedding) and told me I stole her best friend, her bridesmaid spot, and her spotlight and the least I could do is let her catch the bouquet,” she continued.
“I told her it was just luck and she broke down crying and muttering curses at me for stealing her best friend until K’s husband’s cousin (the one she was consuming during the wedding) dragged her away.”
Whoah, buddy. What a wedding!
Her mom thinks K should have made L a bridesmaid and her mom also thinks that she shouldn’t say anything bad about L anyway.
K is left feeling bad about everything, but she is not positive that she should feel bad at all about this.
How would you deal with this?
