As a grad student with limited work opportunities—due to discriminatory hiring practices surrounding disability—Danielle was unsure how she could afford to save her best friend.
In a later update posted to the GoFundMe, she shared that treatment and medications had compounded to a whopping $13,000. But Danielle still won’t give up on Thai because he never gave up on her.
