“She kinda shakes her head and goes no that’s not what I meant,” this teen explained. “I’m confused by now. She goes, “I like the dress, just not you in it.” By then I’m like what..do you mean.”
Her sister then told her, “I don’t want any attention straying away from me and my fiancé, I’m sorry but you can’t be my bridesmaid.”
At this point, she became very angry and said to her sister, “so the problem is that I look great in the dress.”
Her sister just nodded in response, so she quickly exited the bathroom, changed back into her clothes, and rushed out of the store.
As she was trying to leave, the other bridesmaids were asking her what had just gone down, so she threw the dress she had on at her sister.
She explained to the bridesmaids that her sister felt the dress looked too nice on her and it will take the attention off her.
She then sat outside of the store on the curb, waiting until her stepmom got there to get her. When she got home, she cried. It was so important to her to be there for her sister on her wedding day.
“My cousin and my sister’s best friend take my side, and now they say they won’t be a bridesmaid until my sister apologizes and lets me be in the wedding again,” she continued.
“My sister texted me and said that I’ve ruined her wedding.”
