This Teen Weighs 55 Pounds And Has Been Suffering From An Eating Disorder For Years: Her Family Was Told To Put Her In Hospice But Now They’re Turning To The Internet For Help

Carly’s parents are positive that Carly met someone with an eating disorder while admitted. After that, it became more and more clear that Carly was having issues with eating.

As the years wore on from there, Carly’s parents found multiple different facilities to help treat Carly. Here’s a comprehensive list of all the places Carly’s parents have taken her for treatment:

September 18, 2019 – September 26 – Albany Medical Stay for Restricting Food
November 10, 2019 – November 15 – Albany Medical Stay for Restricting Food – only kept her this time because they said they could not do anything for her due to her refusal of medical treatment by the staff by CK

December 30, 2019 – Albany Med. Parents bring CK to the Emergency Room for once again restricting her food intake. Admitted
Early 2020 – Saratoga Hospital, for low weight, then multiple surgeries to insert, re-insert, and correct feeding tubes

October 2020 – Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown of which they transferred her to St. Peters Hospital because of her refusal to take feed through the feeding tube
November 2020- St. Peters Hospital until 2nd week of December – due to low weight and not eating, monitoring vitals and potassium & glucose levels
December 26 – Fell at home – Albany Med. Via ambulance where she stayed until the end of January 2021
