“He was staying at her apartment that she shared with her roommates from college. They were going to sleep and all of the sudden there’s this really loud banging on the front door.”
Her friend figured her roommates were outside playing some kind of joke on her, but when the banging continued, her friend got out of bed to see what on earth was going on.
Her friend opened her front door to find a man and a woman standing on her doorstep.
The man immediately asked her friend if Mark was at her place, and she had no idea what this all meant.
“She was very confused and asked why,” she said. “He introduced himself as his father and the woman as Mark’s wife. My friend was stunned.”
“The father started attacking her and she started yelling about how she had no idea he was married.”
Her friend invited Mark’s wife inside and began speaking to her about all of the lies. Her friend had absolutely no idea that Mark was still married because he told her that he was divorced.
Mark’s wife was blindsided by the fact that he was dating someone younger for years because Mark’s wife was under the impression their marriage was wonderful.
Her friend was floored, and all she could do was keep apologizing to Mark’s wife because she genuinely had no idea that he wasn’t divorced.
Her friend immediately broke up with Mark, and Mark’s wife is filing for divorce from him.
