She’s completely convinced that her friend’s engagement ring is a fake, but that’s not the issue she has here.
She’s upset that her friend’s fiancé lied to her friend about the ring and swore that it was real when it’s clearly not.
“It’s one thing to start with an openly fake ring to save for one,” she said. “But he told her it’s real.”
She really is struggling with whether or not she should tell her friend that her ring is not real at all, but she isn’t the kind of person who likes to just butt into the business of everyone else.
Her head is telling her to do one thing, while her heart is telling her to do another, and she’s really split on what to do.
