“Due to traumatic circumstances she is not able to be reunited with her family, but we are so excited to welcome her into ours,” Heather continued.
“I feel so lucky that I am going to get to help raise her and Lexi is excited to have another little sister.”
When Heather was going through the process of adopting Lexi, she worked for a company that surprisingly offered assistance to their employees who were looking to adopt.
Her company also helped cover the costs of Lexi’s adoption, but since Heather no longer works there, she’s left having to come up with the lawyer fees and additional expenses to adopt Harper without any kind of help.
