This Teen And Her Friend Were Taken By A Man They Met Online: Thankfully, Both Girls Were Just Found Safe After More Than A Week Of Being Missing

“We presume this “boyfriend” was someone she may have known from social media only. No one has ever heard of this boyfriend and clearly, he is not a boy. SHE IS 14.”

If that wasn’t alarming enough, Izzy’s family decided to search the school trash cans and the desert around the high school for any sign of the girls.

Inside one of the school’s trash cans, they discovered Izzy’s phone, and someone had dismantled it into three separate pieces.

“The condition of the phone suggests it was destroyed with force,” one of Izzy’s family members said in another Facebook post, before mentioning her phone last pinged at approximately 4 p.m.

After more than a week of Izzy and Jade being missing without a trace, an update was posted to the Facebook page Izzy’s family created on December 2nd announcing that the girls were thankfully found safe.

“Oro Valley Police notified me at 9:15 pm this evening that Isabelle and Jade have been found and are safe,” the post explained.

“There is no other information at this time. The police have stated the investigation is in its infancy. The girls are not home at this time.”

“We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who cared and searched and reported what they knew.”

“The outpouring of support has been amazing and very much appreciated. When we have more information, we will share it.”
