While She Was On Vacation, Her Mom’s Boyfriend Sold Her Dog On Craigslist And Pretended He Ran Away

A person had brought their dog in for vaccines, and they found out that the dog had a microchip with her phone number. That dog was none other than Benji.

She explained to the vet over the phone how her dog had run away from her mom’s place, and the vet put her on hold to chat with the people who had her dog.

The vet then got back on the phone and said the people bought Benji on Craigslist. She was floored and thought someone found him and tried to sell him to make money.

Boy, was she wrong. The people gave her the number of the person who sold them Benji, and they gave her Benji back.

“I had explained everything to them, and they told me they met a man named Greg (same name as my mom’s bf) and he was offering Benji for $600,” she said.

“I asked if they’d gotten his number and they gave it to me and I was completely and underly shocked it was his number.”

“I drove the 3 hours and picked up Benji, I gave them all the information I had on him so they could do a report to get their money back. Then I called my mom telling her everything that just happened and she was just silent.”

“She literally didn’t say a word and just hung up. I was livid at this point, I called up some family members (on that 3-hour drive home) and just ranted about the entire thing. All of them agreeing with me that she should break up with him and kick him out (the house is in her name).”

As soon as she arrived home, she started sending texts to her mom and Greg to let them know just how upset she was.

Her mom attempted to apologize and claimed she had no idea Greg had done that to Benji.

“I went over to her house texting to get into my car so we can talk, all I basically asked is when she’s breaking up with him, and when is he moving out,” she continued.
